After a heated start the field were led in the early stages by Cynical, followed by Fortunatus and Volodyovski. After 2 furlongs Cycnical continued to lead and maintained it beyond the rifle butts, but as they entered the straight he began to drop away leaving favourite Volodyovski to take up the running on the inside. At the distance Volodyovski was challenged by Doricles and eventually succumbed by a neck in 3 minutes 8.4 seconds, with 3 lengths back to Revenue. | Over Round 109% | ||
